Years ago, the parent company of Astami namely SMJ Venture, was manufacturing high-end Battery Vents & accessories being supplied to OEM companies around the country. Soon the high-quality product was also being sought after by overseas buyers. With that success came the desire to branch off to another business venture and the promoters started brainstorming on that. It was observed that there was a dearth of good quality Camphor in the market which is largely used for puja and meditation purposes. Most Camphor brands in the market lacked consistent quality and dependability hence Camphor was a chosen next product in line for the new venture.
The company began with the manufacture of high quality which became an almost instant hit with customers. With the success of Maayasdeep Camphor, the company launched Incense sticks and this led to further introduction. successively Dhoops, Dhunachi Cones, Dhunachi Samagri and later Dhoop Cones were also added. Further Gila Dhoop, Loban and Guggal Samagri was also introduced. The company them launched a larger umbrella brand called Mayasmatic which was to include all the various incense related products. Astami is the online platform launched to serve the entire country as an Online Shopping experience.
In this journey of success, Astami was just waiting to happen with an inventory containing an amazing array of products. Customers, as well as trade associates, wanted that relay of one success to another should have an equally larger online presence.
