Holi celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter, and the blossoming of love and for many, it is a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. The festival is also an invocation for a good spring harvest season. It lasts for a night and a day, starting on the evening of the Purnima (Full Moon Day) falling in the Hindu calendar month of Phalguna, which falls around the middle of March in the Gregorian calendar. The first evening is known as Holika Dahan (burning of Demon Holika) or Chhoti Holi and the following day as Holi, Rangwali Holi, Dol Purnima, Dhuleti, Dhulandi, Ukuli, Manjal Kuli, Yaosang, Shigmo or Phagwah, Jajiri.

Holi Gulal which is also referred to as 'Abir' or in easy terms as the color powder is the most significant thing of the celebration of Holi. It adds happiness, vibrancy, love, and cheers to the festival of Holi. For some Holi, Gulal is a thing to smear on a loved one’s face and greet them with Happy Holi greetings and for some Gulal or Abir is rooted deep with mythologies as many Holi Gulal is smeared on the feet of elders to wish them with festive greetings.

Aside from Gulaal Powder, we are now presenting the paste color, which is Hola Magic Paste. Take out a required quantity of fragrant Hola Magic Paste from the Pouch on the palms. Rub Palm against each other to work better, then put on anybody’s faces. But be careful, avoid contact with eyes, if this happens, rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
