Candles are widely used by followers of different faiths – Pure Wax Candles

As a religion majority of customs and practices in Hinduism are poles apart from other world religions. However, there is one aspect that is common to many religions of the world, which is the use of Candles in many rituals. Apart from Hinduism candles are used in Christianity, Buddhism, and even in certain aspects of Islam, which makes use of the candle almost global. People also see how a candle is used to create an environment of Love when people want to have a special private moment of togetherness.  In Fact, the use of Candles has always been a Universal phenomenon but in India, its use is more religious than others.

A candle makes it easy to create a fire easily without a Diya

The fire by itself is a token of God Brahma and hence its use is very important to people of the Hindu Religion. No ritual worship can be done in the absence of Fire being present in some form or the other and the Oil wick Lamp has been indispensable. Nevertheless, since the advent of the Candle, it has become possible to light a fire without having to arrange for an oil lamp that requires Oil, The Diya, and Wick. The Candle made it possible to carry the fire in a portable format without any preparations. Lighting the fire or a Candle meant one wished for the brightness of the light to illuminate from the darkness of despair and troubles.

We have a large range for varied uses – Small & Regular Candles

Many people can be seen lighting a Diya or a Candle every evening at their home altar or even in temples and hope the flames will carry their need for illumination from spiritual darkness to the almighty. besides Hinduism, it is the Buddhists who burn a huge number of candles at Buddhist shrines and temples. In nearly all religions the intent behind lighting a candle is to state that God is the bright light who will dispel the darkness from me and my life.
